Got to the parking lot at 5:15am and it was already half full. Started hiking at 6am.

The trail from trailhead to Icehouse saddle was in good condition, heavy trafficked. The traffic was much lighter after Icehouse Saddle. I had the trail to myself for quite a while after passing the saddle. Be careful of the trail from Icehouse Saddle to the summit as there were loose rocks and dirt. Please take it slow. Also there are many cutoffs on the way climbing to the peak. I accidentally went on one and found out only when I checked my GPS after passing that switchback. The cutoffs are usually very steep and dangerous, please stay on the main trail.

Got to the summit short after 11am. Took some nice pictures and enjoyed the great views of San Gorgonio, San Jacinto and Saddleback Mountain. Started descending at 12pm. I slipped on my way going down when I was giving way to hikers who were ascending. So please pay extra attention on the way going down.

The fall foliage in Cucamonga Wilderness is beautiful.

Overall, it was a challenging and fun hike.
