Late Post. I'm trying to wrap up my last 3 Peaks for the Year and realized I never posted Volcan Mountain. It was nice Winter Day and took the Scenic way up along the Five Oaks Trail. It was nice to get the Julian Views. It also made going up not as bad when you are surrounded by trees. At the time in February there was patches of snow as we headed to the summit. Had clear views and headed back down. It was nice day and our reward was Pie back in Julian at the end of the Hike.
