We learned very important lessons from Ontario Peak and applied them to Cucamonga. Since we already knew half of the trail, we were better mentally prepared for the challenge and steepness. Our dog had on doggy boots to help with the rocks and we had proper sun coverage this time. This peak seemed less difficult than Ontario to us, but perhaps that is cause we learned our lessons. We hiked this trail on the day of the Peak wedding. The trail was buzzing with joyful event. The peak offers beautiful views of the city below, would love to experience it at night. Thoroughly enjoyed this 12+ hour hike day.
