Fun,  exhausting, and long. Started a bit later than should. The ranger warned I might be too slow coming down before dark. Still made my way up, took quite a few breaks. Stopping asking people how much longer, and each time I would get closer to the top, someone would say the top is longer than the person I asked previously.I like the dynamic terrain and gradients Got there after making a wrong turn. Walk/ran back down the hill. The started at a steady pace. Slowly started getting cooler as the sun went down. My dog was still pulling me down- I think he was also cold. Ended up being pitch dark with the moon popping through the trees as I was walking back down. Made it to the car and it was like heaven, super cold. What a rewarding hike. But definitely need to do it again and earlier. I also couldn't find any of the name blocks which was a bummer.
