This was my first of the six hikes. It was a great, eye opening introduction to what lay ahead. My buddy encouraged me to get this started since he needed a pardner to help him train for the JMT. The trail was in good condition, but there were more flies/mosquitoes than expected. Overall this was a leg breaking initiator.
