Saddle Up!

A wonderful moderate hike in a beautiful canyon with near-perfect weather and terrific company!  Lots of hikers out…many who also brought dogs along.  The creek was running and plenty of cool water for four legged hikers to enjoy, including ours!  After reaching the saddle, downing some snacks and snapping some photos (thanks to the nice couple who was happy to trade photographer services!) we headed back to the trailhead.  On the way back we spent some time exploring a small cave which required some army crawling.  We decided to turn back before reaching the end and spare ourselves from a mud bath.  So much fun!  Can’t wait for the next adventure!
