The trail was a beautiful hike with great views, but there needs to be a little maintenance done. BEE ALLERGY: anyone with a bee allergy be careful through one of the tight sections of the trail. My hiking partner and I were about halfway through one of the tight paths through some bushes when I noticed a growing sound of buzzing – we definitely had disturbed a hive or something, there was a couple hundred bees on the flowers of the bush. Lets just say our butts puckered and we ended up running through to the other side, and on the way down decided to find a route off trail around that particular area. Other than that the hike was amazing with great weather (90-94 degrees) and views at the top. The creek was flowing with cold water down at the base which was a nice refreshing part at the end of our hike – splashed some water on our heads/necks to cool down. Oh and don't forget your hiking boots either as my partner realized once we showed up to the trailhead… lol. But she was a trooper so I have to give her credit there and she didn't let it stop her from hiking (pictures included). And of course I'm keeping my photo op challenge of “paint me like one of your French girls..”
