Headed up over the Devil's Backbone, and down the ski run – and MAN was the scree/sliding on the way down tough on the knees! Very inquisitive bees seemed to appear around me whenever I opened my sandwich wrapper (perhaps they like mustard?!). The day was clear and an early start meant I was done by 12. Not my favorite hike, but it clearly was for other people – saw at least 300 folks on the trail.
