Hiked with a group

This was to be the first hike of an epic adventure, all 6 peaks in less than 48 hours. Our group of 4 started out at Oak Grove right at the stroke of midnight, ringing in the new year as we set out. Spoiler Alert, I had to stop after this summit due to knee pain (related to a full ACL tear last spring), but my companions Phil, Kayla, and Sierra continued on to Hot Springs Mountain. Sierra managed Hot Springs then had to stop due to a nagging Achilles issue. Phile and Kayla would continue on completing all 6 peaks in less than 36 hours!
