Started hiking around 7.30am. Was pretty chilly out there, so layers played a key role. Pretty hard snow and ice right from the trailhead, crampons, ice-axe/poles highly recommended. Most of the trail was lost due to the hard snow all around. All Trails was a major saviour today and ofcourse the footsteps of fellow hikers. The first 2.5 niles could mark the trail on top of the snow but the last 1.2 miles was a steep brutal climb all the way to the top. Had come here during summers last year but winter views at the top were just prestine, a different experience altogether. Was pretty windy at the top, but managed to find a cozy spot behind the bushes to make some noodles and brew some coffee. Took us ~4 hours up and ~2 hours down and spent ~1 hr at the top. Just had an amazing day.
