Mount Wilson starting from Bailey Canyon Trail. We went from Bailey Canyon to Jones Peak and then up and over Hastings Peak. From there it was straight up using a cable for a small section to join the Mount Wilson Toll Road where we backtracked to find the trail up to Mount Yale. A fun scramble up to the top of Mount Yale and then wandering back down to the toll road. From there onward to Mount Wilson. On the return we took the Mount Wilson Trail and cut back over to Jones Peak which was an unexpected 700+ feet of elevation gain in one mile around the 13 mile mark. From there it was fully exposed and hot returning to Bailey Canyon.

A fun long day and until the end the weather was perfect. 17.3 miles / 5969 feet elevation gain / 7 hours 53 minutes.
