We got to the parking lot about 9:30 and it was packed. Circled around and parked on the street off to the side of the parking lot. Lots of other cars doing the same thing so it was fine, nobody messed with our car. We always make sure nothing is left out for thieves though…not even shoes.
On the trail by 10 and passed people going up and down but not to crowded. Some shade but it quickly warmed up today. Wish I had worn shorts!
the trail is a nice meandering single track trail with amazing views! Then you get to the real climbing and false peaks where you think you are there and some other nice biker says “oh no 3 more and you’ve made it!” Ha! I loved seeing all the different ages and skill levels out there getting fit and enjoying the trail. Really narrow with lose gravel and drop offs in places so use caution with kids and pets. View from the top is great with lots of places to rest, eat some lunch and take pictures. Coming down was a bit rough on the knees but we did it!!!
