We started at 7:30am, when there were only 5-6 cars. The temperature was very good for hiking – a little bit cold in the early morning and got warmer at noon (but not hot). When we returned the parking lot at 12:30pm, it was totally full with 20+ cars. I would recommend start earily to avoid the crowd and the sunlight.
