Did a quick hike up Strawberry Peak.
Overall, beautiful day. Cool morning, and was able to hike to the peak and down before it got too hot. Roundtrip, with a long break at the peak took under 4 hours.
Parking though. The main parking lot was almost full when I left at sunrise. When I finished the hike and left around 10:30, the lots were full, and people were parked in the middle of the parking lot and along the side of the road. Just remember that parking in no parking or unmarked parking slots in the lots is asking for a ticket. Also, along the road, parking outside of the white lines, or even if your tires touch the line is ticketable.
Trail was in great condition. Just a small tiny amount of snow was on about 20 feet of the trail. Really no snow at all on the trail. Pretty straight forward to the top, just follow the trail up. First junction, there are the two fire roads, just stay on the trail. Second junction, the trail to the peak is on the left. The trail going down to the right is to the watertower and Colby Canyon trail.
The steepest parts of the trail is getting a little worn.
