SNOW!!!! Lots and lots of snow! The hike was beautiful! The first mile or two were not completely covered but did have some iced areas. It was a group of us who went and we were all prepared. I was the slow one from the group but they were super patient and I was able to keep up. After the first 2 miles, the trail was covered! Thank goodness we did not have to posthole it up because that would have been exhausting! The only super sketchy part was the ridge but luckily it wasnt windy. Hung out at the top for a bit, ate, and took some pictures. The way back down was sooo much fun! We glissaded down the parts that we could. My ass was so cold afterwards but so worth it! I would definitely do this hike again in the snow.
