Aptly named, it put one to the test! The first part of the trail was easy as we ascended to the first peak with the lookout tower. Frost formed on the trees which made the landscape surreal against a bright blue sky. Definitly chilly as layers were needed throughout the hike as the weather changed from sunny to cloudy throughout the day. Trails on the way to the second peak were sometimes treacherous, very narrow along the ridgeline which opened up to amazing vistas. The most incredible views yet.
