It was such a wonderful day for this beautiful 14 miles hike to Mt. Umunhum.   The views from the top of the summit were stunning. We started the hike at around 7.30 AM and got back by 1PM. The radar tower on the summit is still under repair and is being painted. The ranger told us that the radar tower repair work will be completed in about 2 weeks and then the section of the trail which has the steps on the summit slope leading up directly in from of the tower will be opened after that.
