Beautiful hike. A very strenuous and technical trail. You are basically climbing 2k feet within 2.3 miles. Very much worth the hike though. Took our group of girls 4.5 hours to finish.
The trail is very well marked all the way up. There were green arrow markers on a stack of rocks held in wire guiding you and also red, white and green colored dots painted on several rocks throughout. White and green help guide you on the way up and red points you in the best direction of the way down.
It was a little windy at the very top, but as you start to descend that breeze feels nice.
Some scrambling required and walking sticks a must! I would not take dogs on this trail.
Great hike, tough, but great!
