The weather was perfect and the hike was beautiful. But the best part of the day was rushing down the trail after learning, while at the peak, that my daughter was in labor. Fortunately I was able to make it to the hospital in tme for granddaughter to be born. A very special day for me and I will always remember this peak with great affection.
