It was a cloudy day so unfortunately no views at the top but it was still a fun hike. In the lower elevation there were still some views but the trees looked very pretty in the fog. At the top we were literally in the clouds. So while I would have loved to see the view, it was still a cool experience. I saw reviews saying the last mile was steep and poles helped and I'm really glad I brought mine. The majority of the hike is mellow and easy to follow. But that last mile is really straight up and it can be hard to get traction at time. It reminded me of Strawberry Peak but more loose sand and gravel. Poles made it a lot easier and I was really glad I brought them.
