Trailhead Maiden Peak from Gold Lake rd

Beautiful skies, cool breeze, saw a couple of bicycles and a group of hiker/campers at the top. Great hike and would like to do this one again when the huckleberries are on. The berries were all gone today! Saw a single very large cat print about 2/3 way up. Great hike for birders.
