I was SO STOKED to find out that San G reopened and I could complete the original 6!!! It was supposed to be part of my Whitney training but didn’t open quite in time. I got cocky having just done Whitney and didn’t get enough sleep, bring enough food, or even remember to bring my TREKKING POLES. Needless today this hike was unnecessarily difficult and everything hurts but I still hiked it two hours faster than last year!
Now to see if I can squeeze in those new alternates and get myself that 12 pack…
