Hiked with a partner

Started out early to avoid a hot hike. Initial part was beautiful with spring flowers everywhere. Then at 4.5 mi in had a bad reaction to a bar with expired date and pushed through. At summit was feeling way better. Coming down was very hot, and slow going with uncut toe nails.

Grateful for my bug net!

7 hour hike turned into 8.5 hours after all said and done. Luckily carried full bladder of water!
