This hike was very nice. It is so close to my home, in the bay area, and I have never been on it. We went on Super Bowl weekend and totally took the wrong trail and got lost. 8 1/2 miles later we decided to turn back. We went back the middle of May and found the correct trail but unfortunately the parking is very very tight. There are about 10 to 15 spots and that’s it. So we drove all the way to the top and parked in the parking lot at the “cube” and we hiked down and turned around and hiked back up.  Not ideal, but we got it done. We started in the morning and it was a bit cold, foggy and chilly but the morning views were beautiful. The trail is very taken care of and pretty well marked. It was a good day and I go to hike. Great way to start the challenge!
