The trail was wonderful today.  I got an early start at 6:30 and it was pretty chilly (the best hiking weather).  It was clear and sunny day, and due to the rain a couple days before the trail was slightly damp.  The flowers were in bloom and everything was pretty lush and green.  It was the first hike I have done since my foot surgery, so I was very happy to finish in a reasonable time.  This hike is fairly straightforward, but the turn from 4 corners is not obvious…follow the trail map!  The last part of the climb is the most challenging piece, but it has rewarding views!
