The hike was a little bit more difficult than I expected, which only tells me I need to get in better shape to continue the challenge. The good part is that with Summer coming rest of the peaks will have to wait until the cooler November or December days.
The most challenging part was getting to the trailhead and once you get into the area with the pine trees finding the trail and staying on it as it becomes very small and narrow and almost doesn't seem like a trail. Once you get to the top you have to look around a little bit for the box and sign.
The hike is beautiful and the environment changes throughout the hike. You start any very shaded area then you head up into an area with high bushes then some dirt and then you're almost in a desert type atmosphere and then you end up around pine trees. There are a few large Boulder areas where you can stop and rest and take in views from there that is worth the stop.
Although this was difficult I am definitely coming back..
