The first portion of the hike was great and an easy walk in the park. The last portion of climbing up the peak was all uphill and had 2 false summits. Thank the Lord for trekking poles, they saved me on the way up and on the way down. The trail was clear and well maintained. Be sure to arrive early as the parking lot does get rather full. It was very full by the time we left the parking lot.
The only difference I noticed was that the split in the trail to go up Strawberry Peak or into Strawberry Valley is no longer marked. Just be sure to stay to the left and go up the mountain instead of the valley.
