Took advice and got there early – glad we did since at 8:30am there were already a number of cars in the small lot. Overall the hike to the peak was not technically difficult – first mile or so was steep and single track but once you get to the fire road it opens up. There is a constant incline to the top but the payoff at the top is the amazing 360 views. We even saw the geyser down below! Very windy at the top but we ate lunch in the shelter of the rocks then headed down. Total of 10 miles in just under 4 hours.
