18 months ago I could barely hike a mile, so this peak was a HUGE Milestone for me! I started our Blister Sisters Meetup back in February and we set out to conquer the 6 Pack of Peaks. With the closures of Bernardino and Gorgonio, we altered our original plans to include Ontario and Baden-Powell.

Today, Baden-Powell featured bright blue skies, wind gusts of 10-25 mph, and delightfully cooler temps down to 54 degrees! Many of us wore long sleeves the whole hike. Of all the peaks, this was one of the easiest, but it was no less of an accomplishment. Fabulous 360 views at the summit, getting a ‘taste’ of the PCS, the American Flag flying proudly, and the monument honoring Lord Baden-Powell for his lure to the outdoors through Scouting made this hike a perfect finale!
