Back in a hot summer 2020 I hiked Mount Baden-Powell. This time spring of 2022 it was a perfect weather day on Mount Baden-Powell. At about 8,000′, there was snow covering the trails. I had to hike off trail due to the snow. The snow was slushy. My trekking poles kept me from slipping and falling. The perfect weather on the peak gave a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. I met a big group of PCT hikers from out of state and from different countries.
