This hike was in memory of Robert C. Carey. The goal was to hike up and find his name signed in the register and take a picture of it for the family but I was not successful despite thumbing through every page of every notebook. I brought a memorial rock that his family painted for him and was able to find a nice area to leave it overlooking Mt San Jacinto.
