I ought to like this hike more. It's got a variety of different conditions. It's a good climb. Parts of it are really pretty. But it just doesn't do it for me. Maybe because I remember it as hard and punishing when I started hiking. It's not anymore, but I still don't love it. It's alright. When it's cool. Would be better if the Cosmic Cafe was open. I went up, I took a picture, got some water, had a snack and went back down. No more until it gets cool again. I prefer it with a sugar coat of snow from Manzanita Ridge on up.
