We started at 5am up the south fork trail to dry lake. It started getting windy but once we got past Dry Lake that’s where you could really start feeling the wind. We stoped at the crash site and paused for a minute. I was starting to feel the altitude at about 9,400’
Wow taking a while to get used to the high altitudes after being away from the mountains for 6 months
Reached the summit and ran into two of my favorite hiking ladies.
Continued down Dollar Lake side andim glad we did. There was some amazing views
22 miles the longest recorded hike for me in just under 12 hours. Two days later I’m still excited
