First hike of the season so we felt it the next day, but it was a very enjoyable day out with my fiancee.

Got an early start to head out to the trail-head, but realized on the way that we needed to get a permit. After a couple of detours trying to find an open location that sold the permit, we finally got to the trail-head. While the trail was busy to start, once we got a couple of miles in it was very peacefully. The weather was wonderful, sunny but not too hot and the cloud cover as we got further up the mountain allowed us to capture some nice pictures. Top of the mountain had some nice views and the rocks allowed us to capture photos with interesting perspectives.
