This one is literally out our front door, a hike we have done many times before. But, it never gets old, and this time we had our new trail mascot, Guðrún the Gator.
We had a perfect Spring day, few people, and a lovely lunch at the top while we picked out places in our town from above – the schools, our house, downtown Denver, Kansas (not really but almost), Mt. Evans, etc.
