Sedona itself is absolutely gorgeous as soon as you drive into town. The view beneath the bridge outlook is awesome. Right out the gate you start your incline, it's not horrible but gets the blood flowing. We started at 6am with the temp high looking at upper 90s and rain by 1pm. The first portion was shaded thankfully. Once that sun hit it was hot & humid! Luckily we made it past first bench and enjoyed the spots in the tree. Sedona overlook is stunning and canyon overlook is just as breathtaking especially watching the storm roll in. Finish off this Perfect long hike in a short rain shower.
