What a day What a day!
My son and I hit the road at 5 am, stopped for breakfast at Polly’s Pancake Parlor (this is a must), and hit the trail by around 9 am. Andy waited at Lakes and I ran up Monroe (I was there, so why not). Then we aimed at the summit. It was a busy day at the top of New England, it was also clear so Andy’s first summit was a great one! We did the hot chocolate stop then down Jewell we went. Great day and amazing views.
Summitpalooza is my made-up event name for this weekend.
