Started at 7am, beautiful day. It was 65-70 degrees all the way up, it took me about 3 hours to get to the summit and there were no bugs because it was cloudy! Not much wind, sun came out after I got back into the forest, so for me it was a perfect day for this hike. The trail was in good condition and only saw about 10 people on the wash up, and another 10 on the way down. Most of the time I had the trail and the summit all to myself, I was able to thoroughly enjoy the gorgeous surroundings! It was a moderately hard hike for me, and my first big hike since breaking my ankle in March, but it was stable the entire time, so it was a complete success!
