Amazing hike!  Weather was perfect.  Started at 6am and finished at 1:11pm.  It was a sunny day, but the gentle breeze kept the temperature down.  We were in no rush, so we took the time to enjoy the foliage, bees (no bee stings), butterflies of various colors (white, purple, yellow, orange and black), many hummingbirds, and curious lizards.  There were many people and some pups out there (the hike was too much for some doggies and were being carried back down).  Met many nice hikers.  We took a wrong turn and added time to our hike (same happened to others).  Our chatting and not checking the map caused us to miss the turn toward Strawberry Peak.  Once we summitted we traded a chocolate covered almond for a strawberry 🙂
