Another hot hike, but a clear beautiful day. Great views of the other peaks around the Bay Area at the summit. Mt. Umunhum means hummingbird and is still a ceremonial place for the Native Californians. The name of the mountain goes with the legend that the hummingbird brought fire. The large building on the summit stood for radar for the Air Force to detect planes.
