Started hike at 8 am and the temperature was 68 degrees. So far so good but I remembered at mile 1 that I left my Garmin on top of my car so I turned around and went back to the parking lot. I retrieved it and off I went back up the trail…Thought about turning around several time today the elevation gain was brutal but trudged forward and made it to the top. Kind of disappointing that the top was full of towers and workers. Checked out the views and as  I was eating I heard thunder so I packed up and hustled down the trail, a few rain drops came down before I made it to my car. Highlight of trip was spotting a horny toad next to the trail!!
