Well, didn’t need to do this on one of the hottest days of the year, but…with this hike up Mansfield, I completed three lists: VT 4K list, all NE state high points, and my 6th peak for the 6 pack challenge. I figured it would be a tough hike, and it was. Loop hike up the Long Trail, across the ridge to the Haselton trail back to the Mtn base. Thank you to the NE 6-peak challenge for getting me to several peaks I have had an interest in for a couple years.
