This was my first time up. We started at 1:00 am in hopes of seeing some of the meteor shower and to beat the heat.  This was such a beautiful hike! We felt good and strong for the first 5 miles up, but that last mile was slow and TOUGH!  Going down was another kind of hard. Overall we had a great experience!
