This hike is absolutely stunning. So glad this was the final hike of our challenge! My 2 friends and I stayed in an Airbnb and started at 7am from Deer Springs trail head in Idyllwild and finished at 7pm. Make sure you bring enough water. I sadly forgot my hat, but soon realied it was the best trail to do so because it has great tree coverage for 85% of the trail. Don’t forget to take breaks and soak in the views. Honestly, I can’t stop dreaming of this hike and can’t wait to do it again.
