Another beautiful day for a hike. Since I knew this was shorter than some of the others, but with a large number of switch backs, I really tried to push all the way to the top without breaking. The temperature was pleasant and the skies were clear, but the shade of this trail made for easy hiking. Trail wasn't over crowded, but there were a good amount of people out today. Felt great and the views from the top were as spectacular as people said. Jogged most of the way back down, trying to see how quickly I could make the trip. Finished in 2 hours and 48 minutes including my 10 minute break at the top. Tried to get home quick enough to hit the beach today too, but got stuck on Angeles Crest Highway  for 40 minutes as there was an accident at Newcombs Ranch (watched the helicopter take off from the side of the road where it was waiting to airlift the accident victim to the hospital).
