Hike to the top of Mt. pinos with my son, daughter in law and 2 grandsons. It was a beautiful day and the The forest was gorgeous with many large, gnarled trees. We also passed through a sage brush area. There were many trails heading out in many directions. The trail to the summit is a fire road. We didn't see any other hikers on the way up, just a bow hunter, which was creepy. We stayed at the top for a while eating snacks , enjoying the views and exploring the area. We ran into a lot of people on our way down. It was a nice little hike, suitable for all ages.
