Started the hike at 745am, plenty of space in the parking lot (but perhaps this was due to the impending heatwave). A majority of the hike has tree coverage so luckily we were not overwhelmed by heat and the higher we got, the cooler it got. We completed the 7.9miles in about 3hr and 45min (break for food at the top included). Views at the top are amazing – you can see for miles in every direction!
