The last time I hiked a summit was in the high sierras when I was 18. I am turning 60 next month and I am not sure how many peaks I'll get to but I sure am proud that I made it to the top of Mount Wilson! I was fortunate to have my daughter hike with me and she was super patient with the almost 12 hour hike due to my not quite being up to the challenge. Got lost a couple times which added mileage and didn't get down until it was dark so thank God for headlamps! Beautiful views. Saw some deer. Bugs were scarce. Was surprised at the fire damage coming down. Great challenge!
