Ah Dickerman, Dickerman, Dickerman. This was an interesting one for many reasons. The trailhead was dead on an early Thursday morning. I hiked with a friend and we stopped a quarter of a mile in to take a photo shoot. I usually solo hike, so it was different to hike with a friend and stop so many times!
One of my favorite things about this hike was discovering the pretty flowers and the abundance of huckleberries. They were so tasty and so bountiful! Loved collecting them all. This part of the hike was pretty flat and was wondering when it would get harder 🤣
Oh I sure got what I wanted. The last mile to the summit was amazing with big incline and lots of stairs. I love that sort of thing and quite enjoyed the challenge.
Counted 61 switchbacks total, give or take a few I may have missed. Pretty awesome hike, although it was cloudy foggy at the top with zero view. Will do this one again, hopefully when the sun is out!
