Camped at halfway this time – no water, but also all to ourselves. The hike up to the summit was great and we met fellow hikers on the summit who had brought wine up and were willing to share! Getting back to camp and putting the heavy packs back on is always rough. The heat started to climb as elevation decreased making one ready for the hike to be over a couple miles before it actually is!
